This course is designed for schools setting up a Peer Listening scheme to help support student welfare and build positive relationships. To be a success this needs to be done as a whole school approach to increasing positive support and behaviour of students.
12 pupils and 3 staff members are trained during the course. Pupils are selected against a criteria detailed in a pre course meeting with the school. The 3 staff members then make up a post course support team for the peer listeners.
