Relate Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow wishes to recruit a Clinical Supervisor to provide individual and group supervision to relationship counsellors working in our centre. Relate RKH is developing its work with young people and families and therefore the ideal candidate will also have clinical experience of systemic practice and work with families and young people.
Experience

1    Holds the Relate Diploma in Relationship Counselling and is a member of the Relate Register of Supervisors or is suitably qualified to become a member of it.

2    Has completed the Relate Supervisor Training or equivalent and has substantial experience as a Supervisor in counselling or psychotherapy.
 
3    Has expereince of Systemic Theory and Practice and is able to deliver systemic supervision to practitioners.
 
4    Has ability to understand and accept accountability for practitioners’ casework.
 
5    Can demonstrate the ability to work one to one, lead groups, facilitate and foster adult learning; motivate, support and develop and, where necessary, discipline.
 
6    Understanding of organisational structure and dynamics.
 
7    Ability to understand and operate within Relate policies, procedures and guidelines.
 
8    Can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, be flexible to meet the Centre needs and to form effective working relationships.  Ability to work during the day and in the evening from both Kingston & Richmond centres.

9          Effective communicator and time manager. 
 
10      Can demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate and appropriate   records.

11    Can demonstrate the ability to manage and contain anxiety.

12    Commitment to working within and promoting Relate’s Equal     Opportunities and anti-discriminatory policies.

13      Working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office Products.
