Ewan Malcolm, CEO

Ewan Malcolm

Ewan is an experienced Chief Officer, mediator, trainer and lawyer who has worked around the UK and internationally. As a leader and a well-respected practitioner, he has a career-long commitment to providing excellent services for those experiencing relationship problems. His collaborative and pragmatic approach is always with an eye to economic sustainability.

Ewan worked as a partner in an Edinburgh based law firm over two decades. He was then the founding Director of the Scottish Mediation Network for seven years building strong links with the Scottish Government. When living in New York City, Ewan ran the Manhattan Civil Court Mediation Service assisting hundreds of people to resolve their disputes.

Ewan’s achievements as a practitioner were recognised when he was named Mediator of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland 2008. He graduated from the University of London Masters programme in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, with distinction, in 2011.

Ewan’s career experiences puts him in an excellent position to lead Relate London North West forward as it develops new services to reach out to more people in more ways that work.

Ewan lives with Karina, his partner of over 30 years, in Islington.


Sue Smith, Accountant and Monitoring Manager

Susan Smith


Sue manages all the financial processes and procedures for RLNW. Sue is a qualified accountant and is responsible for the monthly management of accounts, KPI's and year end accounts.



Sue Lewis, Lead Clinical Supervisor

Sue Lewis


Sue provides clinical guidance for our counselling team and its supervisors.





Nicola Cunniffe, Services Manager

Nicola Cunniffe


Nicola is responsible for the management of our counselling and mediation appointment teams, directing the development and operation of our first voice teams for both services.




Veronica Padovan, Digital Marketing Officer

Veronica Padovan

Veronica is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the social media presence and the website for RLNW. She also supports the CEO in the organization of fundraisers as well as preparing and distributing marketing materials.




Tony Burles, Workforce Coordinator, Income and Expenditure Coordinator

Tony Burles

Tony processes all income and expenditure for RLNW. Provides support for the centre's workforce and coordinates the payroll, recording and monitoring of the workforce.



Graham O'connor, Operations Manager


Graham is responsible for the operations of our Centre, its outposts, and IT systems.



Meena Mulchandani, Counselling Coordinator


Meena is responsible for supervising our counselling appointments team and ensuring the smooth working of our appointments function.



Carol Edwards, Mediation Coordinator

Carol Edwards

Carol's responsibility is to support the Services Manager in providing and maintaining systems and procedures for the effective and professional support of the Centre’s Mediation service.




Claire Burrell, Training Coordinator


Claire provides and maintains systems and procedures for the effective and professional support of the Centre’s training work. She organizes training courses open to the public, continuous professional development training and the training of students counsellors for the centre.




Caroline Daniels, Schools Coordinator


Caroline is responsible for the development of new and existing partnerships with schools in the boroughs in which we work. She acts as first point of contact for both the lead in the school and the counsellors working there.




We also have a team of Relationship, Family and Children and Young Peoples Counsellors and Sex Therapists who work across our locations.
