International bestselling, thriller writer, and patron of the Relate charities in Sussex, Peter James, will be visiting Relate’s charity shop in Meads Street, Eastbourne between 1 and 2.30pm on Valentine’s Day.
The shop will be selling copies of Peter’s books and there will be an opportunity for shoppers to ask Peter to sign personal copies of his books, which they can bring with them, for a small donation. Refreshments will be available.
CEO of Relate Brighton Hove Eastbourne Worthing and Districts said,
“We are so pleased that Peter can be with us at our Meads Street shop. He is such a well-loved author, particularly in his home county of Sussex. We are looking forward to seeing some of his many fans and our local friends and supporters on the 14th.
Valentine’s day is a time when we celebrate our relationships, however it can be a difficult time for many people. Relate’s research shows that one in five married or co-habiting couples are in distressed relationships and over 1.4 million families are at breaking point across the UK. Any money raised by us means that couples, and families in Sussex can benefit from our highly skilled counsellor’s expert support through subsidised counselling.”
Peter’s next Roy Grace novel, “Need You Dead” is out on 18th May and his next book a stand-alone novel, “Absolute Proof” will be published in October.
Peter said, “Relate is a charity close to my heart. During my own marriage breakdown Relate helped in a quite considerable and valuable way. I was impressed with the warm and caring people I spoke to. Relate provides an invaluable service at a time of need.”
