Would you like to support a vital charity while also developing your strategic leadership and governance skills? Here at Relate Cheshire & Merseyside (incorporating Relate Greater Manchester) we are looking for people who could become new Trustees of our Board, including a new Treasurer.
Relate provides relationship support for everyone by helping couples, families and individuals to make their relationships work better, leading to happier and healthier lives.
Our work has become even more critical post-pandemic and we are currently working with couples, families and young people across Cheshire, Merseyside & Greater Manchester.
As a local charity, we have a turnover of approximately £400,000 and around 25 employees and we are part of the national federation of Relate. Our local Board meets four times a year, with optional monthly catch-ups in between which are held online in the late afternoon / early evening to accommodate busy professional lives.
We are looking for committed and capable individuals to help lead the charity into its next phase of development, with a range of expertise required including digital services, finance, fundraising, and healthcare sector. However, all applications will be considered. We strive for diversity in our Board membership and welcome as broad a representation as possible.
