The objectives of this course are as follows:
- To provide an overview of the topics of gender and sexuality
- To think about gender and sexual diversity and the implications of this for therapy
- Counselling gender diverse clients in relationships
- Counselling sexually diverse clients in relationships
- Counselling clients who engage in diverse sexual practice
- Counselling clients with diverse relationship structures
- To understand good practice when working with all clients around gender, sexuality or relationship structure.
The course is broken down into five distinct topics.

- Topic 3: Working across gender and sexually diverse identities
- Topic 4: Working with diverse sexual practices
