What is Telephone Counselling?
Telephone Counselling is just like having a face-to-face counselling session except you’re talking to a trained counsellor over the phone.
You can arrange counselling sessions whenever is convenient for you. We can provide specialist counselling in a wide range of relationship issues.
How to book a Telephone Counselling appointment

Booking line opening times
Monday - Thursday 8am to 10pm
Friday 8am to 6pm
Saturday 9am to 5pm
We will organise a suitable time, including evenings and weekends. Payment will be taken via a debit/credit card, so please have your card to hand when calling.
If you would like to book another appointment, you can agree a date and time with your counsellor at the end of your call. Otherwise, you can call the booking line to make the arrangements.
The standard charge is £55 per hour which covers the cost of providing a Relate trained counsellor and does not make a profit. 30 minute sessions costing £27.50 are available but are not normally recommended for someone using the service for the first time.
The standard charge is based on calls to UK landlines (including calls to UK mobiles).
Rescheduling or cancellations
If you wish to reschedule or cancel a Telephone Counselling appointment you need to contact the Booking Line 24 hours in advance of the appointment within working hours.
